COVID19 Statement

Welcome!

The Blackberry Inn Yosemite is committed to promoting and maintaining the health and safety of our guests, staff members and community during the COVID 19 PANDEMIC. For instance, we practice social distancing at all times and will assist our guests in doing the same. Additionally, Steve and Alex the owners, have both been vaccinated according to the CDC guidelines, including booster shots. Feel free to call, or email us if you have additional questions.


Please refer to the information below regarding policy changes and modifications, hygiene and cleanliness standards, and enhanced safety practices in and around the Inn.


Hygiene Practices:

Beginning January 1, 2022, PROOF OF VACCINATION will be required to check in at the Blackberry Inn Yosemite. This policy will be in place until further notice.


All staff members are following CDC guidelines and regulations to include; frequent and proper hand‐washing, temperature checking, wearing a mask and gloves during cleaning and food service, and strict monitoring of any illness symptoms. Above all, guests are asked to do the same.

Guestroom Cleaning:

Enhanced cleaning using the recommended CDC guidelines and Lysol products are being employed on the property. For example, all public areas and surfaces are being cleaned and sanitized with increased frequency.


Each guestroom is thoroughly sanitized between guests after a 3 hour waiting period. This includes sanitizing surfaces, high‐touch points, and the removal and replacement of all linens and towels after guests depart. All vacuum cleaners are equipped with HEPA filters. All magazines, maps, and guide books have been removed from guestrooms and are available digitally.


*** For your safety and the safety of our employees, Staff members will not enter your room during your stay unless you are here for more than three nights. We are happy to place any needed items outside of your door, just let us know. Please let us know if you would like housekeeping service during your stay. We have also suspended evening turndown service until further notice. ***

Culinary Services:

Ahwahnee Suites Guests:

Breakfast will be served at your private designated table, outside your room on one of the covered porches, or in your room, during inclement weather.


Blackberry Inn Building Guests:

Breakfast will be served outside on the covered porch on a first-come, first-served basis. If the weather is poor, you will be seated at your designated, socially distanced table in the main dining room through the main front door of the Blackberry Inn Building. Please wear masks upon entering the building until breakfast is served.


Breakfast time for all guests is at 8am unless you need to depart earlier for a long hike. An early, cold breakfast MUST be arranged IN ADVANCE THE DAY BEFORE, so we can accommodate your request.


Freshly baked and wrapped chocolate chip cookies will be delivered to your room daily.
